Jacket and pants in ripstop fabric are new to the SS21 collection!

These pieces are inspired from 60’s U.S. military wear

and also reconstructed as a modern style by JAPAN BLUE JEANS.

Ripstop fabric, as the name suggests, has the characteristic of "stopping" "rips",

and is the name of a fabric sewn in a grid pattern.

By sewing in a grid pattern, the strength of the fabric itself is increased,

and even if the fabric is tear up, these grid patterns help to prevent the spread of rupture.

It is said that it was originally developed as a tough military material in the U.S. in the 1940s.

Recently it is widely used in fashion wear.

Cotton 100％ Rip stop fabric

As we mentioned above, there is the grid pattern on the surface.

This fabric has a high density and is dyed with a special core white dye, so the fades will appear on uneven parts over time and increase the taste.
