■ How did you know JAPAN BLUE JEANS? (#3) |
I think that I first saw Japan Blue Jeans at Tenue de Nîmes in Amsterdam. I remember that I immediately noticed that the items were of super high quality and quite affordable, especially for made in Japan garments. Just a few months later I met Kishimoto – the managing director of JBJ - at Selvedge Run, a Berlin-based trade show, and we kept in close contact. Ever since, I have been following the brand with great interest, seeing it evolve into one of the most popular brands from Japan. |

■ Which item do you have in JAPAN BLUE JEANS? (#4) |
Over the years, I collected quite some garments from Japan Blue Jeans and every season I try to add some more to my collection! Why? Because the fits of the jeans are great, and the tops are fitting me perfectly. Currently, I am wearing the J201 Circle jeans, the Bono shirts, and my favourite JBJ item which I will reveal at question #7, at least a few days in the week. |

JEANS: J201 |
■ What do you like about JAPAN BLUE JEANS? (#5) |
The thing I love most about Japan Blue Jeans is their range of fabrics. As the brand is coming from a fabric manufacturer (Collect Mills), this is where Japan Blue Jeans really excels. Every season the brand is releasing some superb (denim) fabrics, including traditional Japanese ‘Sashiko’ fabrics and 100% Cote d’Ivoire cotton denim fabrics. Next to the fabrics, I like the contemporary take on fits and constructions, the smart details and the military-inspired items in the collection. |

■ When do you wear JAPAN BLUE JEANS? (#6)
|
There are no specific moments when I am wearing Japan Blue Jeans. It can be anytime and anywhere, and maybe that’s what I love most about the brand: Its versatility! I wear the same outfit during weekdays and in the weekend, at work and at a party. And, no matter the occasion, the outfit is stealing the show (and it is compensating my personality)! |
■ What is your favourite item? Why? (#7) |
It is hard to mark just one Japan Blue Jeans item as my favorite because I like many garments for a variety of reasons. But, I promised to reveal it in my answer to question #4, so here you go: I really really love the Sashiko Haori jacket. The fit is great, the fabric maybe even better, and it's easy to combine with almost everything! It is comfortable, not too warm, and not too cold. Stylish and practical. Well, the word is out |

I read question #8 a few times, but I can’t help to read ‘itemS’, so let me mention a few items I would love to rock! As I am a BIG fan of the Circle jeans, I would love to start wearing the 16.5 oz. J266 Circle Tapered. |
⇒We will announce details of the 10th anniversary later!! Don’t miss it!!! (JBJ)
