Drawing from the voluminous shape of traditional Gurkha shorts, this piece is reimagined in soft sashiko fabric. The relaxed wide-leg fit ensures comfort, while front tucks add a subtle hint of sophistication. Wide hems allow for smooth movement and breathability, offering a breezy feel even in peak summer heat. Equipped with four pockets—two at the sides and two at the back—for practical storage. Back pockets feature flap-and-button closures, balancing utility with refined style. A timeless summer staple that blends casual ease with elevated design.

Fabric
Made from 11oz sashiko fabric, woven for softness to suit daily wear. The threads are rope-dyed in indigo—the same method used for traditional denim—allowing the fabric to develop unique fades and aging over time.
*Sashiko is a traditional Japanese thick cotton fabric, originally used for firemen's jackets due to its resistance to sparks and durability. The fabric is woven by alternating thick cotton threads for added texture and strength.
